What you need to bring on the test day

  • A Photo ID
  • Receipt confirming payment (fees may be waived for companies who are contracting through GTCC Business & Industry Office)
  • Letter on company letterhead, if provided by the employer, identifying which tests you will be taking. If this letter is not provided by the employer, then it becomes the responsibility of the test taker to know which tests are needed.

Testing Locations & Dates

WorkKeys Testing can be done at all 3 Campuses


GTCC Greensboro Campus (3505 East Wendover Avenue)
Continuing Education Center Building (CEC) – Room 242

  • Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays:  8:30am – 12:30pm (No Fridays during summer hours June 1 – July 29)
  • Tuesdays & Thursdays: 5:30pm – 9:30pm

GTCC Jamestown Campus (601 High Point Road)

Two locations:

1. Assessment Center Medlin Building – Room 217

  • Monday – Thursdays: 9:00am – 2:00pm

 Note: No advance notification is necessary for WorkKeys and TABE testing. WorkKeys testing can be accomplished Monday – Thursday, 9am-2pm during the following timeframes.

  • April 1 – April 28, 2016
  • May 19 – July 31, 2016
  • August 22 – December 2, 2016

2. Community Training Center Building (CTC) – Room 122

  • Thursdays: 5:30 – 9:30pm
